Aletta Shaw marketed a large detached property with lots of potential and scope to extend. After a whole day of viewings, a number of offers were made. The offers received went up to £75,0000 over the asking price. We had an interested party who needed a property for a disabled relative.
The offeror advised that the property was a perfect fit but that time was needed for her offer to be made due to her relative having invested trusts and money tied up elsewhere. She had been looking for months but had found that other agents would not give time to run the figures with the trustees (another firm of solicitors).
The issue was that the offeror needed time to get the figures together. The only way that this was possible was with efficient communication between solicitors for both sides and the estate agent.
Between our communication with all trustees, experts to view, solicitors and keeping the other parties that had made offers informed we were able to keep all parties happy and gave an opportunity to a party in a very unique situation. Although the end outcome was such that they could not make the relevant offer all parties were extremely happy with the close communication and instant progression from all parties to a resolution.
